The studio of Surveyor Giancarlo Marovelli, based in Barga in the province of Lucca, is a renowned technical practice that has operated for over 25 years with professionalism, and also undertakes international projects; it specialises in the field of building renovation, refurbishment and new construction, as well as healthy building assessments, enabling the design of environments that are healthy and free from mould, radon, damp and formaldehyde, built with natural materials that are not harmful to human health.
Its team is highly qualified, as it must guarantee expertise and reliability, and it draws on qualified partners and/or associates to optimise relations with the Public Authorities not only of the Lucca district but of the whole of Tuscany and Liguria, in order to resolve every technical, geological and legal problem, and thereby meet any requirement and carry out every assignment received in the best possible way and within short timeframes. Technical and legal assistance is also provided in English for international clients.
The technical studio makes use of the latest-generation IT technologies and is equipped with professional instrumentation, including electromagnetic field detectors, thermographic instruments and a total station for topographic surveying.

Surveyor & Land Planner Giancarlo Marovelli is a registered member of the Association of Architects of the Province of Lucca as a Land Planner (registration no. 959, Section A Sector B) and is registered with the Association of Surveyors of the Province of Lucca under no. 1426.
He has practised as a self-employed professional with an established studio since 1996, in Barga (LU), Piazzale Lorenzo dei Medici no. 6.
He is an accredited energy assessor in the Tuscany Region and the Liguria Region. Thermography Operator in the field of civil engineering, cultural heritage and architectural assets — non-destructive testing Lvl 2; CasaClima Junior expert since 2008.
Healthy building expert and technician qualified in Radon gas remediation works (D.Lgs. 31 July 2020 no. 101).
